Welcome to 'Delfin' hotel in Augustów. 'Delfin' complex is a leisure and conference centre situated in the northern-east part of Poland in Podlaskie province, about 250 kilometres from Warsaw. It is a high standard establishment, located in the heart of Augustów primeval forest, precisely on the "Fox tail" peninsula, surrounded by a lake called Biale.
The LEISURE COMPLEX IS OUT OF SERVICE TILL 20.12.2008.

Accommodation

'Delfin' hotel can accommodate 128 guests at the same time in comfortable and cosy:
* single rooms
* double rooms
* triple rooms
* five apartments
All rooms were designed and furnished in a way to make guests feeling like home.
Guests with children are given:
* free bed and breakfast for one child up to 6 years old
* children bed and a child minder.

Dining

'Delfin' hotel is famous for its cuisine. The head chef is the winner of many culinary contests. Dishes of Polish and European origin, which are served here, can satisfy even sophisticated gourmets. The speciality of the house are fresh-water fish dishes and regional specials made of potatoes, wild animals meat and forest undergrowth. All dishes are prepared from fresh and natural products.
There is a restaurant in the hotel complex called Village. Its pleasant interior and nice service encourage having here business and informal meetings. The specific climate of the restaurant is complemented with a chance of trying some culinary specialities.
The hotel complex consist of a café 'Aquarium', disco-bar 'Flipper' and a restaurant hall 'Blue Lake'. In addition, there are garden bars 'Delfin' and 'Muszelka' opened during summertime.
We organize on request banquets, occasional parties, grill parties on the roof with a view on the lake and do catering services. The offer is aimed at individual clients as well as groups.

Conferences

'Delfin' hotel of Augustów provides professional services to all kind of conferences, business trainings, conventions and occasional ventures. There are lecture-conference halls equipped with multimedia stuff like TV, video, Internet terminal, fax, photocopy machine and projector. The biggest of those can accommodate 180 people while the other can intake about 80 people at the same time. The rest of them are suitable for more intimate meetings for 30 or 10 people. All of the halls are air-conditioned, soundproof and comfortably furnished.
A special recommendation earns an apartment called Business Center, ideally suitable for business meetings.

There are a Bureau de Change and deposits safe at guests dispositions, guarded round the clock.

Leisure

Hotel 'Delfin' in Augustów means a nice place for rest and leisure.
The whole complex is situated on 5 hectares plot bordering with Biale lake shore.
On summertime, the hotel offers its guests many forms of active rest. There is a save, guarded bathing beach with a water-sport hire shop where you can get water bicycles, boats, canoes and sailing boats. In addition, there are boat trips on Augustów area lakes and yacht sailing. Those who prefer a bit more thrill, they can choose water-ski, balloon flight or chained flight.
On the grounds of the hotel there are also tennis courts, a volleyball pitch, cycling lanes, mini golf pitch on the roof of the hotel and last but not least, billiards room. When it comes to children, they may enjoy two playgrounds, one in the hotel and the other one on the beach under supervision of qualified child-minder.
Wintertime is not a standstill season here. There is a winter-sports hire shop with cross-country ski, skates, sledges and iceboats available. A quite attraction is a sledge ride with open flame torches ending with a bonfire and a delicious hunting meal 'bigos'

'Delfin' hotel is found nearby three primeval forest complexes, namely, Bialowieza National Park, Wigry National Park and Biebrza National Park. Therefore, one of the active forms of resting we propose is an excursion to the mentioned forests, which includes seeing some unique species and plants as well as animal's tracks, all registered by a camera.
The biggest advantage of the area is the Augustów primeval forest complex where a lot of species like elks, wild boars, otters and beavers that not to be found anywhere else in Europe, live in wild. It is also a paradise for anglers due to plentiful of fish living in the neighbourhood lakes.
